I have always waited for the day I’d hear this and I guess I am still waiting but the social network has been a haven of sorts for old time friends and those that have lost contact with their loved ones. I bet if there was a sort of testimony office like they have in new generation churches for how facebook has impacted on the lives of its users, it will probably be a flourishing department. Away now from the digress and back to the part of the issue. The major complaint you get from users of the social network is that unlike your regular dating site, you can’t just look for a room and join and start meeting people (that would really be fun on fbk). But I understand that is why the network is different and unique in its own way. Its peculiar qualities are what endears it to its teeming users and ever growing fan base. Seems a lot like that lady you met on facebook and proposed to may actually be your brother’s friend’s uncle’s sister’s little niece!
It is not impracticable for people to chat over a long period of time and then start falling in love and these days there are even online pastors or priests that conduct wedding ceremonies on the net. So if you can afford it, you can get married to your spouse on the net and you don’t have to spend time and energy to travel to wherever she is to meet her and have the wedding physically.
They are quite genuine, by the way, I think they have a license or something like that to cover them. Would not be a bad idea if facebook were affiliated to some of these sites and could actually refer couples there if need arises.
For those that can personally identify with the above caption, its reasonable that they should be more grateful to Mark and his crew than the rest of us. Buying him a bottle of wine can go a long way to show your gratitude, though I doubt he will accept. He might give you back and give you a brand new car too for good measure. Yea right, he should be grateful to YOU.
But for the others, keep trying, time will tell your own story.
